Ingredients

  • 2 lbs. boneless skinless chicken breasts about 4–5 breasts
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp. cornstarch
  • 3 tbsp. water
  • Sliced green onion for garnish

Instructions

Crockpot Version (from frozen)

  • Place frozen chicken breasts in crockpot. Pour honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and sesame oil over the top.
  • Cook on LOW for 6-7 hours or on HIGH for 3-4 hours. (Check for temp, should be 165°F).
  • Remove chicken and shred with forks.
  • Mix cornstarch with water and stir into crockpot. Return chicken, cover, and cook on HIGH 20-30 more minutes until sauce thickens.
  • Serve over rice.

Instant Pot (from frozen)

  • Place frozen chicken breasts in Instant Pot. Pour honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, and sesame oil over the top.
  • Set MANUAL – HIGH PRESSURE for 12 minutes; 10 minute natural release, then you can quick release if you like.
  • Remove chicken and shred with forks.
  • Mix cornstarch with water. Turn IP to SAUTE and stir slurry into mixture; cook 2-3 minutes uintil thickense. Return chicken to pot.
  • Serve over rice.
